TESTIMONY
I thank God for delivering me from the spirit of anger. In the past, anger controlled my life. It drove me to do terrible things—things I never thought I would do. I killed my wife during a misunderstanding, and I ran away. For years, I carried the pain and shame of what I had done.
When I gave my life to Christ, healing did not come immediately. I went through a very difficult time. For three years, I could not feel normal around women. Something inside me was broken.
Through prayer and reading the Bible in church, I learned to repent. I asked God to forgive me. After eleven years, I can say that God has healed my life completely. The anger that once ruled me is gone. I married a good woman, and we have a daughter. God blessed us with a home and provision.
Financially, I was once very poor with nothing to eat. Today, I work with trusted friends and have enough for my family. I am a minister in my church and a student at Bible school. I want to understand God better so I can serve Him well.
To anyone struggling with anger, I say this: Trust God. Anger is a dangerous spirit. It destroyed my life until I gave it to Jesus. God forgave me, changed me, and made me free. I am no longer a slave to anger. I am God's son, and I love Him with all my heart.
