TESTIMONY
My name is Foromo Théa, and I am from Guinea. Before I knew Jesus Christ, my life was in disorder. Much of my money was wasted on paying fines after quarrels and theft cases.
In 2013, after my wife and I returned from Liberia, there was a strike in Guinea. During that time, many people were turning to protective idols, and I decided to do the same. I went to a village and took an anti-bullet idol, and from another village, I collected other idols.
However, after the strike, I began to ask myself: What is the real benefit of these things? I was considered spiritually powerful and was known as a troublemaker. I finally realized that these idols were using me to create problems. In the end, I was always the one paying fines.
I grew tired of this life, because all my money was going to waste. One day, I made the decision to give my life to Jesus and see what He would do for me. I went to a pastor and told him that I wanted to join the church. He welcomed me warmly and gave me guidance. I promised him that I would be the first person to arrive at church on Sunday morning.
On that Sunday, the pastor found me in the church, just as I had promised. When he asked why I had come, I told him clearly: “I have come to give my life to Jesus Christ.” I listened to the word of God and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I burned all my idols.
Since then, my life has completely changed. Today, I am in a far better condition than before. God is helping me, and I no longer live the way I used to. I have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ forever. So, I invite my friends to give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.
