TESTIMONY
Hi, Praise the Lord. I’m Jeba Christina D, and this is my life’s testimony.
My parents are converted Christians, and I was born after their conversion, surrounded by prayers.
They named me "Jeba," which means "Prayer" in Tamil. From my childhood, I was spiritually rooted
in Christ. I have a younger sister, Jeba Kiruba, who was born with mental disabilities. My father
resigned from his job to take care of her. Other than the four of us, no one else in our extended
family accepted Christ. Through every moment, Jesus has been our only support system and guide.
From my school days, Jesus has helped me overcome every challenge. By His grace, I’ve never been
hospitalized since birth. He has blessed me with strength and good health. During my higher studies,
I longed for a specific course in a particular college, but with my marks, it seemed impossible. Yet,
God performed a miracle, and I secured admission. I completed my four-year engineering degree,
and by the time I graduated, I was placed in a good company.
After completing a four-month internship, I waited for a year to join the same company. The waiting
period was filled with struggles, but by God’s grace, I finally joined a great project. However, I faced
immense stress, depression, and physical complications. It was then I was diagnosed with
hyperthyroidism. My health deteriorated, and my appearance changed to the point that people
couldn’t recognize me. During this tough phase, I withdrew from everyone.
Eventually, I left my first job and pursued a master’s degree. While completing my studies, I
underwent a major surgery—total thyroidectomy, where my thyroid gland was removed. Despite
these challenges, I couldn’t secure a job after my course completion. I surrendered everything to
Jesus, and within a week, He blessed me with a job offering a high package.
The role required a six-month internship, and selection for a full-time position depended on
performance. Out of 100 interns, I was the first one to be confirmed as a full-time employee. By His
grace, I completed two years in that company, including the internship.
Four months ago, I lost my beloved sister, Jeba Kiruba. It was a devastating loss, but God has given
us the strength to accept His will and move forward.
Without Jesus, nothing in my life would have been possible. His word in Psalms 27:14 keeps me
waiting in faith:
“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!”
All glory to Him alone
