TESTIMONY
I grew up in the church, but I never truly understood God. I loved money more than anything. My friends and I would go to church on Sunday and praise God, but then we would leave and visit witch doctors and shrines looking for wealth. We wanted riches, so we looked for them in the wrong places.
Years passed, and I remained confused. I served in church, but my heart was far from God. I never found the peace or wealth I was searching for. Instead, I buried my spiritual life looking for money through evil means.
Everything changed when I moved and joined Friends of King Jesus Church. When I first visited, I felt God's peace in that place. The people welcomed me with such kindness that I wanted to return. I do not even know when the desire to visit witch doctors left me. It just disappeared. God removed it from my heart without anyone forcing me.
For four years now, I have not gone back to my old life. Instead, I learned to pray, to seek God, and to read the Bible. I discovered that God is everything. He gives us the power to make wealth in honest ways. He has blessed me with all I need.
I now tell anyone who loves money as I did: Do not go the wrong way. Stay with God. He is faithful and generous. All the years I spent chasing wealth through evil gained me nothing. But God—He gives true blessing and peace. I am free from the shame of my past, and I serve God with joy.
