TESTIMONY
My name is Rafia Sandhu, and I am a teacher in a Government School. I am a regular member of the Church of the Nazarene, and Pastor Ashraf is our head pastor. I thank the Lord for the miracle He has done in my life.
Two years ago, after my marriage, I started my job on a contract basis. At that time, the Chief Minister of Punjab announced that contract-based teachers would be placed on the government payroll based on performance and academic qualifications.
My performance in school was very good. My academic record was also strong enough to qualify. Everything seemed perfect on paper.
But there was one problem.
I was the only Christian lady teacher in my school. The other teachers had strong references and influential connections. Everywhere I looked, people were talking about recommendations and contacts.
I had no reference.
I had no political support.
I had only one hope — my Lord Jesus Christ.
I decided to trust God completely. I prayed every day with tears. I told the Lord,
“Jesus, if this job is Your will for me, please make a way. I depend only on You.”
Those months were a test of my faith. Sometimes fear tried to enter my heart, but I kept praying and believing.
And then God showed His power.
Three months ago, I was selected and placed on the Government payroll.
Without any reference.
Without any connection.
Only through prayer and faith.
Today I boldly testify that Jesus is alive.
He never puts His children to shame.
When human support fails, God makes a way.
