A few years ago, I started experiencing serious health problems. I often felt very tired, thirsty all the time, and my body felt weak. Because of these symptoms, I went to the hospital and the doctors asked me to do some blood tests. After the reports came, the doctors told me that I had diabetes. Hearing this news was very painful for me. The doctors said that I might have to take medicine for the rest of my life and follow a very strict diet.
This situation made me very worried and discouraged. Sometimes at night I would wake up and pray to God with tears in my eyes, asking Him to heal me and help me. During this difficult time, my family and my church encouraged me a lot to keep my faith strong.
One Sunday, I went to Holy Trinity Gospel Church, where Pastor Marqas Masih was preaching about the healing power of God. During the message he shared a Bible verse:
“By His stripes we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5
When I heard this Word, something changed in my heart and my faith became stronger. After the service, Pastor Marqas Masih prayed specially for me. He laid his hands on me and prayed in the name of Jesus Christ for my healing.
After that day, I continued to pray every day and trusted God completely. A few weeks later, I went again for my medical check-up and blood tests. When the reports came back, the doctors were surprised. They told me that my blood sugar level was completely normal. They could not understand how it happened because before that my diabetes level was very high.
At that moment I knew that it was a miracle of Jesus Christ. God had answered my prayers and healed me.
Today I am healthy and living a normal life. I give all the glory to Jesus Christ for my healing. I also thank Holy Trinity Gospel Church and Pastor Marqas Masih for their prayers and support.
I am sharing this testimony to encourage everyone who is suffering from sickness or problems in life. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He still heals and performs miracles.
